The Auguste Viktoria Schule, at that time most modern German building of schools was opened in the "Parkstraße" on October 24th, 1911, as a so-called Ober-Lyceum. When the school in 1912 was obtained, it also could house the Mädchenmittelschule. It was allowed to share the hall as well as the rooms for music-lessons, physics, the art-room and the gymnasium of the institution.
The new higher girl school had not only a temperature controlled central heating but also central ventilation facilities which cleaned the air (freed from dust).
At the end of the second World War the school became a hospital. Until then it was with its broad corridors, the clear class-rooms and special rooms, the auditorium, the large gym, finally also with the teaching kitchen of the "meatball academy", equipped for all requirements, one of the most modern and exemplary educational establishments.
