The north head of the Couronian spit got an special adornment by the spa hotel Sandkrug which 1900 was built. From here one had a splendid view towards the oppositely being Memel. In this grand-scaled building resides an officially approved casino during the summer months which by the Memelers, however, is accepted less than the aspiring seaside resort Sandkrug. |
