A number of enterprises and stores were in this part of the commercial center building, lengthways the Börsen- and the Luisenstraße, e.g. "Lass & Co.", "Kaisers Kaffegeschäft", "Simon Eger Transportgs. m.b.H." or "Robert Schmidts Buchhandlung". In Schmidt's store which belonged to Richard Krips for many decades, were sold not only books but also music supplies and stationery, even leather goods and journey articles.
