The development started at 1856/57 west of the "Libauer Tor". Exactly there one built the house Nr.1 at the eastern end of the "Wiesenstraße", which belonged in accordance with the address register entry of 1858 to the coaching inn owner Föge. According to the address register 1866 E. Th. Nettbohm, the master shoemaker and innkeeper "Zur grünen Haide" is the owner of the "Wiesenstraße 1-3". The "Kreis Lazareth" (District Hospital) has its address here too. The information of the address register of 1898 is, Heinrich Barsties becomes before the turn of the century the owner here and operates his tourist lodgings and restaurant business "Zur Ostbahn". |

It can be read, that Heinrich Barsties owned the estate at least until 1942, which in the end no more was called "Wiesen-" but "Johann-Schirrmann Str. 1-3". The hotel owner was now the merchant Friedrich Hilfert. |
