Auf dem unteren Bild vom September 1967 sieht man, daß der Wasserturm sein ursprüngliches Aussehen durch die Kriegseinwirkungen verloren hatte, aber offensichtlich noch viele Jahre lang existierte. Gegen Ende 1967 wurde dann der überwiegende Teil der Ruinen im Gelände des Gas- und Wasserwerks abgerissen.
The picture below (from 1967) shows that the water tower had lost its original appearance by the effects of WWII, but the tower apparently still existed many years after war.
At the end of the year 1967, the majority of the ruins of the gas and water plant was demolished.
