This aerial view shows approximately the same range as the historical picture. Nothing is reminiscent of the winding lanes of the fishing village Bommelsvitte with its fishing port. However, one discovers the former port building authority (now on the property of the Stevedoring Company KLASCO), and near the apartment blocks of the Švyturio gatvė the great beacon, which finally was demolished in 2008.
